Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Zoe is an associate marriage and family therapist working under the direct supervision of Flavia DeCoite, LMFT. She earned her Bachelor’s in Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz and later received her Master’s in Counseling from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, Ca.
Zoe has spent the majority of her career in public school systems providing individual and family counseling to middle and high school-aged students. She has worked for multiple school districts and has vast knowledge in advocating for her clients within the educational system.
Zoe’s therapeutic approach is heavily focused on building a safe, supportive relationship with the client to encourage autonomy and resilience. She works collaboratively with her clients to reach solutions to whatever they are experiencing. Her passion for creativity and outside-of-the-box interventions results in unique therapeutic experiences including play therapy, walk-and-talks, and art therapy. Zoe’s experiences utilizing a variety of approaches provides the opportunity to meet the client where they are and develop a customized treatment plan to reach their goals. She identifies as solution-focused with an emphasis on attachment through the therapeutic relationship.
In her spare time, Zoe enjoys spending time in nature, trying new restaurants with friends, cooking at home with her partner, and cuddling with any dog or cat in sight.
