Tracy Chesler

Clinical Supervisor

Tracy Chesler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Bachelors in English from University of Colorado at Boulder (Go Buffs!) and her Masters in Social Work from San Jose State University.

Tracy has worked in a variety of clinical settings including early intervention programs through San Mateo County, and the child welfare system in Alameda County. She worked in both in-patient and out-patient psychiatry at Stanford Hospital for 17 years providing psychological assessment, treatment planning, crisis coordination, individual, group and family therapy. She provided training and clinical supervision for associate clinicians and launched Stanford’s first every addiction peer support group through the Dual Diagnosis clinic. 

Tracy is trained in CBT, DBT, EMDR, and ACT among other modalities. At Blackhawk Family Development Center, she provides direct clinical supervision to associate clinicians. 

In her free time, Tracy enjoys watching Colorado football, Giants baseball, playing MahJong, going to yoga classes, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and her two beagles.
