Parenthood is an eight week workshop designed for parents who want to develop a relationship with their child(ren) based on mutual respect and strong communication.

Parenting isn't easy, and many of us need some help in becoming the kind of parent we want to be. All this information about parenting that is so readily available can make us as parents feel uncertain about which direction we should take. What is the best approach to discipline? How much screen time should my child get? Is my child developing appropriately and is he/she a healthy little one?

The Parenthood Workshop covers the following principles:

  • Safe and Engaging Environment

  • Positive Learning Environment

  • Assertive Discipline

  • Realistic Expectations

  • Parental Self-Care

Our goal is to guide our families in developing healthy parenting strategies, growing to be the best parents they can be, and building confidence and positivity surrounding their actions and decisions.

We offer this eight week workshop several times a year. Each 50-minute session builds off of the last, so attendees are asked to commit to attending all eight sessions. Currently, this workshop is designed for parents of children under eleven years old.
