Dr. Raju believes in the importance of holding a safe non-judgmental space that will allow one to be their authentic self.  Her strengths include the ability to build rapport quickly and provide emotional support through humor, compassion, patience, directness (when needed), and attentiveness.

In 2020 Dr. Raju was honored with the Non-Profit Executive Leadership Award for bridging cultural gaps in community and public service. She earned the State of California Department of Developmental Services Superior Accomplishment Award for emergency response operation during wildfire evacuations in 2017, as well as the Koshland Leaders Award from The San Francisco Foundation and the Top Creative Director Award for Community Engagement.
