Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Riley is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist Registration Applicant working under the direct supervision of Flavia DeCoite, LMFT. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Public Affairs at California State University, Chico and went on to earn her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of San Francisco.
Riley has worked with adults, children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds. Her experience includes working in public schools, Wellness Centers, and outpatient substance-use treatment programs throughout the Bay Area and Los Angeles.
Riley strongly believes that the power of healing lies within the therapeutic relationship. She works collaboratively with her clients to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, seen, and valued. Her style is warm, genuine, accepting, humorous, encouraging, and occasionally challenging. Together you will thoughtfully come up with a treatment plan to help reach your therapeutic goals. Riley works from a trauma-informed lens and utilizes a variety of approaches including relational, strengths-based, and family systems, but will tailor her style to meet the unique needs of every client.
Riley spends her free time cooking, exploring new restaurants in the Bay Area, and in the outdoors.
